After a few years of
honing his skills he next went to work at the corporate headquarters of
Continental Airlines where he had the privilege of traveling to a different
country nearly every month for free. Later, the Senior Director of the Advanced
Technology Team became vice-president of a dot-com in Silicon Valley and
convinced Donald to join him in the dot-com gold rush. On his first day in his
new job, the CEO announced that the company just ran out of gas and was
shutting it's doors - only 90 minutes into his first day. Fortunately this was
the peak of the dot com boom and jobs were plenty. He later went to work for
petopia.com (who's business model was to sell 50 lb bags of dog food to single,
high income, urban women over 40 - ultimately went bust), Microsoft Consulting
Services at one of their highest profile client - the Gap, and Gilead Sciences
on the Cheminformatics team where he worked with an incredibly smart team of
multi PhD research scientists in drug development against HIV/AIDS. Donald's interestes include rock climbing, skydiving (skydive with my father, 1270 KB, 65 seconds), camping & hiking, photography, and challenging .NET web projects. Donald and Audrey have returned from the Middle East and now live in the San Francisco Bay Area. |
