Donald is a software developer from the San Francisco Bay area with over ten years experience as a professional coder including three years as a contractor, eight years of C/C#, ASP/ASP.NET, VB, and COM programming and ten years of RDBMS database development going against Microsoft, Oracle and Teradata SQL servers.

Donald has been developing large-scale, commercial web sites since 1997, where he has developed numerous data-access DLLs under MTS/COM+ tied to hundreds of web pages using ASP, JavaScript (client side) and VBScript (server side). His web work has incorporated such technologies as ADO.NET/ADO, ADSI/LDAP, CDOEX, CDONTS, MAPI, MIME and XML.

Donald has worked with leading Fortune 500 companies including Bayer Corporation, Continental Airlines, The Gap, Kodak, and Microsoft Consulting Services, in various roles including Software Engineer and Systems Architect, and 21 CFR Part 11 software engineer/server admin.

The primary purpose of DonaldLee.Net is to showcase Donald's talents for companies who are looking for an experienced programmer equally capable of web, .exe, .dll and database work. To demonstrate these skills, this site was designed and developed solely by Donald using a combination of best of class technologies including Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, Javascript, Java, and Perl.

Donald is currently consulting for Sun Power Corporation building and architecting their enterprise-class, mission-critical monitoring system for over 20,000 residential and corporate solar energy customers in the US, Germany, Spain, and Korea. This enterprise-class application is based on .NET 3.5, LINQ, and Silverlight.
